IMATEQ is one of the leading locomotive maintenance providers on the French market. This joint venture of Vossloh Rolling Stock France and Socofer was created in December 2015.
For a hundred years Vossloh Rolling Stock has been building diesel locomotives at the Kiel site in Germany. This experience has been put to good use in France from 2001 by offering global services and in particular in the field of diesel traction. In 2017, IMATEQ Italia was founded in Rivalta Scrivia in the Province of Alessandria as a supplier of locomotive maintenance and services in the Italian market.
The two partners have thus pooled their skills and abilities. Thanks to innovative concepts, modern techniques and great commitment, the IMATEQ company now offers a wide range of maintenance services, thus guaranteeing its customers in France, Belgium, Luxembourg and Switzerland, efficiency and performance of their rolling stock. At the request of its customers, IMATEQ also carries out locomotive renovations. Railway rolling stock is a considerable investment which, to be put to good use, requires high availability and high reliability. Our service and maintenance services guarantee their long-term reliability and preserve the value of the locomotives for decades. Through periodic maintenance operations that are carried out on time, as needed, as well as necessary repairs and upgrades over their lifetime, so that locomotives remain efficient, fuel-efficient and efficient.
With its experienced staff and significant technical resources, such as the large maintenance hall, with its cranes and lifting stands (up to 100 tonnes), IMATEQ is fully committed to this area. Depending on the needs, these services are offered on demand, as part of maintenance contracts, or in the form of full service covering the different stages of maintenance of the locomotives entrusted to us. We also adapt flexibly to your invoicing requirements and our commitment is total, whatever invoicing method is chosen, whether fixed prices or monthly packages.
