For all print layout applications, we are using a 6 column grid that adjusts to all formats, from image brochure to print advertisement.
Text placement
All applications use wider text blocks to emphasize the horizontal design approach. A combination of white space and narrow gutters are used to reproduce the look from the IMATEQ logo.
Body copy is always set to left alignment — with no exceptions.
Indent
For print collaterals, we use a first line left indent, starting from the second paragraph.
Images
Images are visually treated in two ways.
— One; images placed in the layout with a margin to the border of the format, have rounded corners
— Two; images are placed in a box with the 12º shear angle taking from the logo's figurative mark
